Ilford IR-2 Reducer

  • Water 750 ml
  • Amm. Persulfate 25 g
  • Water to make 1.0 L
One or two drops of sulphuric acid should be added to the mixed solution to insure consistent action. The negative should be removed from the reducer just before reduction is completed and then rinsed with a 5% solution of Sodium Sulphite to stop the action, then a final wash.
